What to expect on your Traipse Coach Tour

 Travel in comfort aboard our modern, air-conditioned luxury coach, complete with spacious reclining seats, panoramic windows, and onboard amenities for a relaxed journey. 

Each tour is personally driven by our professional driver, Ian McKenzie, whose skill and care ensure you travel in comfort and confidence throughout the journey.  

With scenic routes, well-timed stops, and plenty of room to stretch out, the journey itself becomes part of the experience.

 Every Traipse Coach Tour is personally hosted by Ian McKenzie and Tracey Kisvarda, a husband-and-wife team passionate about sharing the beauty and stories of Australia.  

Their hands-on approach, attention to detail, and genuine care create a warm, friendly atmosphere where guests feel more like travelling companions than tour members.

From the first welcome to the final farewell, you’ll be looked after every step of the way. 

  Our boutique tours are designed for smaller groups, typically between 30 and 55 guests. 

This allows for a more personal, relaxed atmosphere — plenty of space on board, more time at each stop, and a genuine sense of connection among travellers. 

 Domestic flights are included only where stated in the itinerary — currently for our Darwin (Top End & Red Centre and Heart of Australia Explorer) and Hervey Bay (Whale Watching Discovery) tours. 

All other tours — including Victorian, South Australian, and New South Wales itineraries — commence and conclude in Melbourne, and airfares to or from Melbourne are not included in the listed price. 

If you require connecting flights, we’re happy to provide guidance or recommendations for convenient options.

All Traipse Coach Tours include quality accommodation as part of your tour price. 

We carefully select 4★–5★ hotels, resorts, and lodges that offer the perfect balance of comfort, style, and location. 

In smaller regional towns where premium accommodation options are limited, we choose the best available properties — always prioritising cleanliness, comfort, and friendly hospitality. 

Each stay reflects the character of its region, from elegant city hotels to boutique country retreats, ensuring you feel relaxed and well cared for at the end of each day’s journey.

Our tours include a generous selection of meals designed to showcase regional flavours and local hospitality. 

Daily breakfasts are provided, along with morning tea on travel days — a relaxed pause to enjoy fresh refreshments in scenic locations. 

Selected lunches and dinners are also included, as outlined in each day’s itinerary, indicated as follows: 

(B) = Breakfast  (MT) = Morning Tea  (L) = Lunch        (AT) = Afternoon Tea  

(D) = Dinner

Beverages are not included unless otherwise specified. 

Guests are welcome to purchase chilled bottled water on board for $1 per bottle, ensuring you stay refreshed throughout your journey.  

  All scheduled sightseeing, entrance fees, guided tours, and listed experiences are included in your tour price (unless stated as optional).
